What Contra Costa Needs

With Measure X on the November 2020 ballot, voters can take the steps needed to protect county residents. This measure will raise millions of dollars annually through a 20-year, ½ cent sales tax to care for county residents. Developed through the collaboration of local community-based organizations, hospital and healthcare affiliates, and labor unions, representing essential healthcare, fire and emergency professionals, advocates for interpersonal violence prevention and mental health, early childhood programming and other critical safety net services, the Contra Costa County Needs Assessment is the basis for this campaign.

Already many residents were facing severe insecurities in health, housing, food and other vital needs. Join Healthy and Safe Contra Costa today and endorse Measure X to preserve our essential public health system and strengthen our safety net.
